Welcome to the Warm Front £300 Heating Rebate Registration Portal On Monday 5 December 2005, the Chancellor made a pre-budget announcement regarding the Government’s intention to offer a £300 rebate off the cost of installing a new central heating system for people aged over 60 who own or privately rent their home in England. The £300 rebate can only be used by householders who either have no heating system or one which is inoperable. The £300 rebate will be made available from 11 August 2006 to all householders aged over 60 who are not in receipt of a qualifying benefit that would allow them access to the Warm Front Grant. If you are interested in becoming an installer on the Warm Front Grant you can visit http://www.eaga.com/government_contracts/installers.html for further information. Your registration will last for 12 months. If you redeem a voucher within 12 months your registration will automatically renew for a further 12 months from the date of redemption. If you do not redeem a voucher within 12 months your registration will expire and you will need to contact the Heating Rebate Team to renew your registration. The portal enables Heating Installation companies to register with the Warm Front £300 Heating Rebate Scheme only. The scheme is managed by eaga on behalf of DECC. eaga is a successful, fast growing and ambitious organisation driven by firmly rooted social and environmental principles, a commitment to employee ownership and a track record of delivering lasting social and environmental change, throughout the UK and internationally.
